
Two Development Projects Worth Nearly $200,000 Launched in Panjshir
The Panjshir Provincial Economy Department has announced the launch of two development projects worth approximately $200,000 in the province.
Maulvi Faiz al-Bari Nowbahar, head of the Panjshir Economy Department, said the projects are being implemented by the Dastakom Institute. They focus on providing mental health services and creating job opportunities in the private enterprise sector.
The initiatives include mental health counseling for patients, distribution of medicines, and other related services. In the private enterprise component, 124 small commercial centers will be established to provide employment for local residents. The total cost of the projects is $192,130.
Implementation will take place in Hesa-ye Aval and Parian districts, as well as other areas of Panjshir province. The projects are being carried out in coordination with the province's Public Health and Industry and Commerce departments.
Nowbahar stated that the projects aim to address mental health needs while boosting private sector employment through the new commercial centers.
